Personal Power

We live in a world with other people and how glorious to be able to engage fully with the other kingdoms. This can also present some challenges with expectations and communication. Through life coaching and your own personal expansion, there is a way to embrace being in the world so that it brings enjoyment.

I believe that it is important to be responsible. At times it feels too large to carry but as I grow in my understanding of this concept I am able to feel a sense of security in myself. When I take this on completely, I am able to feel the strength that we see examples of in nature: like that of water so strong yet so gentle and flowing.

Standing firm, making choices, clear decisions, controlling your actions, communicating your thoughts, and self-control are aspects of your power. These are what give you inner strength.

Being responsible means making decisions for things that you have control over, for yourself. You do not have control over anyone else because people are complete and do not need changing or fixing. There is only the possibility of expansion and potential for everyone.

Your interpretation and experience can shift if you choose not to complain but to find answers, if you decide to pivot the circumstances that seem to be in the way, if you stand up for yourself in every moment of the day.

Before making the shift from external power to internal power you need to be clear on one thing. That you are starting from a place of completeness. That you have everything within you and so does everyone else. Until you are so sure about this it will not be possible to be connected to your inner power. Once you have found this you will know that there is no fixing yourself or others and you will not want to. You will be able to enjoy the responsibility of life and realize how you can control or rather create your life.

You are infinitely powerful if you take this on for yourself. Your power diminishes if you try to have power over others because this is just an indicator that you have not laid claim to who you are.

When I think of these two sides of power I picture a mountain. To climb a mountain to the top you require a lot of personal power. You need strength that resides within you. You can control how fit you are, how determined you are, and how you are going to work with the obstacles. If you are looking for power from the outside, hoping to have power over the mountain you will be knocked off balance if the weather is bad, and scrambling if the rocks start to slide.

If you would like to move forward feeling completeness, confidence and strength you can test out…
~ Allowing others their own feelings, reactions and experiences.
~ Being aware that your experiences are one of a kind, personal, and valid.
~ Living from your heart which means being completely open with others about yourself, and open to what they are presenting as well.

Learning how to open up is really dear to my heart. Please feel welcome to leave your comments or begin a conversation about living inside out or about your own inner strength.
