Nancy Phillips

Nancy is passionate about helping people identify their values and make their life decisions, including financial ones, based on what matters most to them. Her children inspire her to create these resources to develop essential life skills that aren’t traditionally taught in school.

Nancy Phillips is the mother of two children who brings all her experiences as a parent, passionate entrepreneur, and valuesbased financial author and speaker to her business. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Business of Administration. Through her Zela Wela Kids program and book series, she addresses topics such as the difference between needs and wants, the different uses for money, the importance of saving and entrepreneurship, and the “give, invest, save, and spend” or GISS method of money management. She is coauthor of the 2011 best-selling entrepreneur book Pushing to the Front with world renowned business author Brian Tracy and has developed The Parents Guide to Kids and Money, How to Teach Your Children the Most Critical Financial Life Skills, Steps to Success Teen Guide and Steps to Success: Parents Guide to Teens and Money. These resources are accredited by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
